Mico uses Raspberry Pi Pico IC

Maker Mahesh Venkitachalam has designed a high quality microphone he calls Mico using the main component of the Raspberry Pi Pico  – the RP2040 controller chip – which can be bought separately from the Pico platform.

The sensing device is a MEMS microphone that outputs a pulse density modulated (PDM) signal.

Mahesh designed a PCB that holds the RP2040 with the MEMS microphone and a USB connector.


It comes with full schematics and source code available on its GitHub page.
