The Xantrex XFR 1.2 and 2.8kW DC power supplies are available with an Ethernet/RS232 interface. The microprocessor-controlled interface card allows the user to remotely control the XFR series power supplies through the existing network or via a direct connection to a computer.
The interface features an auto-sensing 10/100 base-T network interface that provides fast programming and readback utilising the command set. The user can select between the factory default Ethernet or RS232 control by adjusting internal jumpers on the installed interface card.
The Xantrex XFR series can also be programmed via the standard remote analogue programming or using the traditional 16-bit GPIB or RS232 interface options.
All models utilise ‘soft switching’ or zero-voltage technology.
XFR models are available in 18 standard models from 7.5V to 600Vdc output, all generating full power over the total operating range of 0-50°C without derating.
Power density is also very high with the 1.2 kW models housed in a 1U rack case and the 2.8 kW in 2U size.
