Boxer-8654AI-kit is a carrier board equipped with either an 8Gbyte or 16Gbyte Jetson Orin NX module – respectively these have a hex-core or octa-core Arm 64bit Cortex-A78AE (ARMv8.2) CPU.
Its IO includes six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an OOB (out-of-band) management box header, and four LAN ports with optional power boards for power-over-Ethernet.
One physical HDMI Type-A port is included for a display, and there are two MIPI CSI connectors, each equipped with four lanes, to allow for two MIPI cameras to be installed per interface.
There are two DB-9 ports, one for RS-232(Rx/Tx/gnd)/422/485 signalling and the other for CANBus, and an Nvidia Jetson-compatible 40pin header offers I2C, SPI and UART.
M.2 E and B-key slots are provided to host Wi-Fi and 5G modules, with an associated SIM slot for cellular data comms.
While there is no on-board eMMC memory, there is a M.2 M-Key slot for NVMe SSD storage, and a SATA slot.
A blown heatsink is required, and operation is across -25 to +70°C, and from 12 to 24V via a two-pin terminal block.
Dimensions are 166 x 133mm
“The kit comes with pre-installed Nvidia Jetpack 6.0 Linux software development kit components, such as CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, OpenCV and DeepStream, as well as tools like Vulkan, VPI and Nvidia Nsight to allow users to develop graphics, AI inference and multimedia applications,” according to Aaeon.
