“Whether the user wears gloves or operates with
bare hands, the knob’s haptic structure and pleasant grip surface reliably apply the necessary torque to the potentiometer shaft across all application situations,” claimed the company.
The series is called ‘ACCK’, and includes round (11 types), pointer (7 types) and skirted knobs (11 types), with diameters spanning 10 to 35mm and heights between 12 and 27mm.
Shaft hole diameters include 3mm, 3.175mm (1/8 inch) 6mm and 6.35mm (1/4 inch) shafts – locking is by radial fixing screw.
The multiple styles are spread across ABS and alumimium types – none of the shapes are in both materials.
All are black with white dashes or dots to highlight orientation.
If custom shapes, shaft diameters or markings are required, the company can produce them in aluminium – and both body colour and marking colour picked from black, white, silver, grey, blue, red, yellow or green.
Plastic types are not offered in custom shapes, but their body and marking colours can be picked from the same list.
The ACCK product page links to both a data sheet and an application note – the latter of which appears to have an encyclopaedic cross-reference from the companies potentiometers to all compatible ACCK knobs.
