Fieldbuses and Ethernet for industrial MCUs

Profinet RT, EtherCAT Master, Ethernet/IP, CANopen, CC-Link and ModBus/TCP are available, accessible through Infineon’s Modbus Toolkit – although only ‘registered XMC7000 opportunities’ can use it commercially in products, Infineon told Electronics Weekly. 

Infineon is providing code examples and documentation, and there is a sample application on GitHub.
