Inductors for automotive power-over-coax

TDK has created inductors for automotive power-over-coax applications up to 1.6A.

The three parts are an expansion of the 4.5 x 3.2 x 3.2mm ADL4532VK series, and are rated for use across -55 to +155°C.

Power-over-coax requires data to be separated from power, and that filtering is what these inductors are intended for.

The “series delivers high impedance across a frequency range from tens of megahertz to hundreds of megahertz”, according to the company.
