It is an IPS type for wide (±80°) viewing angle, and typically achieves 16.7m RGB colours and up to 300cd/m2 – driven by an LED backlight.
Claimed typical straight-on contrast ratio is 1,000.
Operation is from 5V and across -20 to +70°C, and communication is over serial UART at 115,200 baud.
The viewing diameter actually measures 53mm, and this sits near the front of a sitting in a 79mm diameter cylindrical bezel, projecting 11.3mm from the mounting surface. Projecting through the mounting hole to the rear is a cylindrical body 51mm in diameter 26mm (not including connectors and wires to the rear).
