How to plan your 7 day Bali itinerary
Days 1-2: Bukit Peninsula and Uluwatu
Bali holidays can be full of adventure no matter where you begin, but we recommend picking up your rental car at Ngurah Rai International Airport for the 40-minute drive to the Bukit Peninsula. Check into your Uluwatu hotel for your first 2 nights in Bali.
- Swim at Padang Padang Beach (you’ll quickly learn why it’s a popular movie set location)
- Blue Point Beach
- Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
- Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali’s monkey-filled, sacred sea temples. Stay for the Kecak and Fire Dance performance
Where to stay: Float in the clifftop infinity pool at Blue Point Bay Villas and Spa, or choose the family-friendly Uluwatu Cottages, which offer a free buffet breakfast.
Days 3-4: Seminyak and Canggu
It will take just under an hour to reach Seminyak from Uluwatu for your 3rd day.

- Visit Pura Tanah Lot—an ancient Hindu temple located a 20 minutes’ drive north of Canggu
- Batu Bolong temple
Where to stay: Consider W Bali – Seminyak, which has a bar on the beach that’s perfect for cocktails at sunset. Or, have your own private villa in a tropical garden at The Dusan.
Transportation: It’s possible to walk to many attractions in Seminyak from central hotels, so park the car today if you are staying in town, or you could hop in a taxi if your feet get tired.
